On Sunday Dec. 21st 2008 Kayla was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).
On Monday Dec. 22nd 2008 Kayla had her first round of Chemo.

Hi Kayla!
We just wanted to tell you we are pulling for you and your dad and wish we were close enough to visit you! We live in Ramona, CA. and are in the second grade at Ramona Community School. We have a meeting today and will write you a letter. What are your favorites? Colors? Animals? Foods? Take care of yourself and we would love to hear back from you and maybe be pen pals.
