Oh my gosh, this post hit me hard with tears. Your daughter is beautiful and your family is so strong for going through what you're going through.

You're right. Cancer is NOT a joke. I've subscribed to your feed so I can check up on your beautiful, strong, daughter and continue to send her some good thoughts on the road to recovery!

I almost cried. Your little girl is adorable. I can only imagine the journey your family is taking.

So at first I had no clue what was going on and then decided to click the links and saw the disgusting post from trisha.

I am signed up at mom dot forums but have been clueless to alot.

Then I saw the screen shot of the post and saw the comments and I wanted to puke.

I cannot believe a mother would think it's ok to take photos of a child and post it over the internet criticizing them in such a terribly way.

I cannot imagine the pain I'd feel seeing my child's photo on the internet in such a manner.

I'm glad you ladies are standing up and speaking out.

My best friend is dealing with cancer and I agree. It's NOT funny.

Loved your video-what a classy way to respond. (and your little girl is the cutest!)

Cancer is NOT funny.

One of my son's best friends is battling brain cancer. He lived in our local children's hospital for a year. His mother gave birth to his baby brother in the hospital next door while he was undergoing treatment.

Cancer is NOT funny.

Half his face is paralyzed and the tumor severed the auditory nerve in one of his ears, rendering him hearing impaired. His chemotherapy destroyed about half the hearing in his other ear. His ability to swallow was gone for months and he had to be fed by tube. Even now, he still throws up sometimes after he eats. They don't know if that will ever go away.

Cancer is NOT funny.

He has to leave school halfway through most days because he's just too tired. His little body has had so many operations and treatments that he's still very weak.

Cancer is NOT funny.

Even though the last MRI three months ago showed no more live cancer cells, nobody knows how long our little hero will live. He is the sunniest, happiest, sweetest kid, but his parents don't know how long they have with him. His journey has drastically altered their family in ways that can't be undone.

Can I say this again? Cancer is NOT funny. And anyone who claims losing five pounds is worse than cancer, no matter what experience they claim to have with it, is beyond insensitive. I know funny, and that wasn't it. Get a life.
